Who We Are
Evans Army Community Hospital is named in
honor of Specialist Four Donald W. Evans, Jr., a member of
Company A, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry, 4th Infantry
Division. Specialist Evans was awarded the Medal of Honor
for action at Tri Tam, Republic of Vietnam, where he gave
his life while administering medical aid to his fellow
Soldiers.
