Food Service Facility Inspection Grading Criteria
The Environmental Health (EH) section
of the Preventive Medicine Department conducts monthly food service
inspections of all dining facilities and restaurants on Fort Carson.
Technical Bulletin Medical (TB Med) 530: Occupational and
Environmental Health Food Sanitation provides information for
managers in the proper operation of a food service facility
including: personnel, food, equipment and utensils, facility
maintenance, and more. EH conducts inspections for compliance with
TB MED 530.

These grades are guidelines, and Environmental Health reserves
the right to change these grades as determined necessary, as per
TB MED 530, Paragraph 12-2a.
