Equipment Management Branch


  • Performs scheduled services (preventive maintenance, electrical safety, calibration).

  • Repair hospital medical equipment.

  • Train operator level equipment maintenance.

  • Annual service contract administration.

  • Maintain historical data on all maintenance significant medical equipment.

  • Provide training and maintenance support.

  • Condition code medical equipment for turn- in.

  • Performs electrical safety check on equipment entering the hospital (even if equipment is at no cost or for a trial period).

  • Process one-time medical service equipment contracts.

Medical Maintenance work order information:  the Hand Receipt Holder or designated representative must call the equipment accountability clerk at 526-7202 and a work order is electronically generated in DMLSS (Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support).  Bring portable equipment to the Medical Maintenance shop in Room 0705.
