Healthnet This is a medical search database that allows you research various medical conditions, diseases, physicians, and drug information etc.

AMEDD Virtual Library This is the US Army Virtual Medical Library, containing wealth of medical resources.

Quackwatch.com is a great site for locating medical scams that are our to deceive patients and get their money.  If you found a site that you think might be questionable, this is a good place to find out if they are "quacks".

Healthfinder.gov  -Guide to reliable consumer health and human services information, developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Contains links to selected online publications, clearinghouses, databases, web sites, and support and self-help groups, as well as government agencies and not-for-profit organizations that produce reliable information for the public.

MedlinePlus  -Contains up-to-date, quality health care information from the world’s largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine at the National Institutes of Health. MEDLINEplus is for anyone with a medical question - both health professionals and consumers can depend on it for accurate, current, medical information. This service provides access to extensive information about specific diseases and conditions and also has links to consumer health information from the National Institutes of Health, dictionaries, lists of hospitals and physicians, health information in Spanish and other languages, and clinical trials.

NOAH  -NOAH seeks to provide high quality full-text health information for consumers that is accurate, timely, relevant and unbiased. NOAH currently supports English and Spanish.

Health Information - National Institutes of Health (NIH) -Bibliographic database produced by health-related agencies of the Federal Government. This database provides titles, abstracts, and availability information for health information and health education resources. CHID lists a wealth of health promotion and education materials and program descriptions that are not indexed elsewhere.

Pulmonary Hypertension Association -- Pulmonary hypertension is a rare and, as yet, incurable disease, striking men, women and children of all ages.  It causes high blood pressure in the lungs, which produces progressive breathlessness.  Founded in January 2000, the Southern Colorado Pulmonary Hypertension Support Group meets on the third Sunday of each month in Colorado Springs.  Meetings typically include educational, business, and social segments with quarterly potluck or holiday gatherings!  For local support, call Cheryl (1.719.372.3305), Pat (1.719.637.1244), or email so_colorado_ph@msn.com.
